There are four available models of KMT pulleys in stock: with a 11,5%, 15%, 17% or with 19% smaller circumference. The 11,5 % smaller pulley is similar in size to the John Cooper Works kit pulley. With the 19% smaller pulley there is a considerable increase of lever and power in lower rpm. Pulleys in other sizes are only made to order (for the min. of 10 pieces); in this case there is a slight increase in the price.

KMT Pulley for Mini Cooper S tuning

Since there had been no pulleys on the market in Slovenia, we decided to develop a pulley for increasing the pressure in the compressor. The product was developed together with the Kovinoplast Ivan Kavs, Company. The love for Mini cars is the reason why Kavsmotorsport was created and today there is a new, inexpensive quality pulley on the market, which made Mini tuning approachable to a wider range of Mini owners.

The company has considerable experience with pulley production for the motor industry and has the ISO 9001 and 14000 Certificate. The pulley is produced with modern CNC machines and covered with a galvanized coating. It consists of two parts, which simplifies the assembly. One-piece pulleys are harder to install (tight fitting) and to centre on the compressor.

Intercooler water / air for tuned Mini Cooper S cars   

KMT water cooler is based KMT water cooler is based on the original intercooler, cased in high quality aluminum. The interior is separated with several compartments which direct the water in the appropriate current to allow optimal cooling. A minimal decrease in the pressure of filled air was the main reason why the intercooler resembles the original model.

Such water cooling systems are often too expensive for some buyers; therefore we decided to offer the air intercooler separately, allowing the buyers to choose other components according to their wishes (expansion tank, pipes, water cooler, water pump, etc).  
 

 
The system contains approximately 5 liters of water or for extreme condition and customer 8 liters, which is the top offer of water intercoolers, and it is driven by a pump (23 liter/second). The quantity of water is crucial for efficient and constant cooling. The efficiency of the system can be enhanced with two water coolers instead of one.
 
The original intercooler has a limited air flow through the gap and not even a larger intercooler has any effect on it. This is especially manifested at a standstill or at a lower speed, when the capability of cooling the compressed air is reduced. The result is a decrease in engine power and an increase in fuel consumption. In this case, the only proper solution is a water intercooler.
